When I first saw the beautiful machines that electric motorbike company Tarform created my jaw dropped (and I’m not even into motorcycles). They are objects of desire, made with incredible precision and attention to detail. The performance specs are remarkable: 0-60 in 3.8 seconds, 120 mile range, charging 0-80% in 50 minutes.
And then the more I read about their commitment to sustainability, (for instance, using pineapple “leather,” flax seed instead of plastic) the more I fell in love with this small start-up, operating out of the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
I caught up with Founder Taras Kravtchouk to find out more about his journey, and the company’s vision of the future of two-wheeled transport.

How can we use technology that empowers the riding experience instead of being a distraction? The answers to these questions became what Tarform stands for today.
